Conflict avoidance as an economic principle

Leupertz Baukonfliktmanagement was founded on 01 January 2013 as a result of a personal career decision. Prof. Stefan Leupertz (read more) was a judge at the German Federal Court of Justice until 31 December 2012 and assigned to the Seventh Civil Senate, which is responsible for service contract law and construction contract law. He decided to turn his back on this position to focus on extra-judicial proceedings for conflict avoidance and resolution instead of retrospective judicial decisions on long-past construction law disputes. Leupertz Baukonfliktmanagement offers such proceedings, and they are carried out by the company owner, Prof. Stefan Leupertz (read more).

Although Prof. Leupertz is a certified lawyer, Leupertz Baukonfliktmanagement does not deal with the drafting and processing of contracts or any other judicial or extra-judicial representation of party interests. Instead, our business deliberately focuses on external dispute resolution proceedings of all kinds and is based on three inalienable fundamental principles for carrying out such proceedings:

  • Expertise
  • Neutrality
  • Speed
